Adam Belvo (Guard) is thrilled to be a part of this production. Recent roles include Sebastian in Twelfth Night and Jean in Working Man Clothes’ premiere of Restaurants at Beautiful Times. Favorite roles include Talthybius in Euripides’ Trojan Women, Menelaus in Andromache, Ted Magus in Psychic Life of Savages, and The Orator in The Chairs. This is Adam’s first show with QED.
Gil Charleston (Guard) is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Acadamy. NYC theater includes: Animal Farm (Snowball), One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show (Caleb). TV: All My Children and Chappelle Show. Can be seen in 2007 in the NYC premiere of the stage play Love.com and the independent film WAKE. A big thank you to QED Producions for giving me the opportunity to work with such an amazing company.
Micah Freedman* (
Chorus, Producer) Recent NYC credits include Valentine in last year’s Arcadia, Joe Pitt in Angels in America, Demetrius in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Malcolm in Macbeth, Antipholus of Ephesus in Comedy of Errors, Manders in Ghosts. Regional credits include principal and featured roles in Fiddler and Almost Like Being in Love (Barter), Showboat and Phantom (Gateway), Music Man (Mill Mountain). Micah graduated from Stanford University where he studied Music, Acting and Computer Science. Marguerite French (Antigone) is honored to be a member of the Antigone cast. She recently performed the role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet in the first annual Allentown Shakespeare in the Park, produced by Sarah Bagley, under the direction of Jadrien Steele. Marguerite has originated many roles to critical acclaim, including the title roles in The Quiet Model (part of this summer’s Midtown International Theatre Festival), and Sugarbaby! with DM Theatrics. ANGUS HEPBURN* (Creon) has acted for over forty years in Britain and the US. Favorite roles: Cyrano, Frederick Treves (The Elephant Man), Pizarro (The Royal Hunt of the Sun), Salieri (Amadeus), Cpt. Bluntchli (Arms and the Man), Tom (Skylight), the Captain (The Father – 2002 OOBR award), Mr Peachum (Threepenny Opera), Thomas Dunne (Steward of Christendom), Henry (The Real Thing) and Harpagon (The Miser). SEAMUS MULCAHY (Page) Born in Okinawa Japan, he received a BFA from SUNY Fredonia and has attended the London Dramatic Academy. GRAHAM POWELL (Haemon) is thrilled to work with such a talented team. He thanks all of QED, his friends, his family, and Angela for her constant support. Last month he starred as Michael Waterman in Fiction at the Gene Frankel Underground Theatre. He can also be seen in several student films which will be screened at the end of this semester at both the New York Film Academy and New York University’s Film School.
CHANCE MULLEN (Messenger) is excited to be performing with QED Productions. He has performed at the Guthrie Lab Theater (Minneapolis), Seattle Children’s Theatre, Chase Park Theater (Chicago). Favorite roles: Schmidt in Execution of Justice, Yepikhodov in The Cherry Orchard (Leonid Anisimov, dir.), Roland Maule in Present Laughter, Petruchio in Taming of the Shrew, and Gordon in A New Brain. He has written/produced 2 one-person shows: The Way of the Word, and October 10th; and is a founding company member of Little Apple Improv Company in Manhattan, KS. MICK O’BRIEN (First Guard, Sound Designer)
Recent NYC credits include Greed: A Musical Love Story and Michael Gardner's King Lear (both for the Brick), the critically acclaimed one-man show The Christmas Suicides and World Gone Wrong (Gemini CollisionWorks), Nevada Territory (DMTheatrics), Madness & Joy (Cirque Boom), and Dracularama (Alternative Theatre Machine). He's also a member of SAG and a professional reader of the poetry of Walt Whitman (Walt Whitman Project). He's designed sound for films by Bryan Enk and for The Fall Collection at La Tea at CSV, among others. He says “yes” to Julia.
MERET OPPENHEIM (Euridice) trained at the Atlantic Theater Company School after a career as a writer and video producer. New York credits include House of Yes, Temple of the Flickering Light (lead), The Little Prince at Atlantic for Kids, and The Difficulty of Concentration at the Vaclav Havel festival this year. Film/television credits include featured roles in: The Christmas Party (festival awards), Still(e) (lead), and Tempting Charles Warner and the MTV pilot I See God.
VICKIE VARNUSKA (Nurse)
has appeared on stage, film, television and radio. Recent performances include the Fortune Teller in a T.G.I. Friday’s industrial, three characters in a radio docudrama on WBGO.FM, and Millie and Beth in Neil Simon’s California Suite. She plays 20 characters in her own delightful one-woman show, Essentially Alice, excerpts from “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” She is also a singer, writer and lyricist. She studies with E. SARAH ABDELLA (Costume Assistant) is a sophomore at NYU, Tisch School of the Arts, studying costume and scenic design in the Technical Production Track program. Recent assistant credits include The Full Monty (Tisch/NYU) and Hair (Skirball/Theater Mitu). Sarah has also worked in the production department of ABC’s One Life to Live. Many thanks to Melissa for this great experience!
Alicia Barron (Assistant Stage Manager) joins QED after a recent move to NYC. She is a classically trained singer/dancer who is addicted to supporting the arts and fundraising/dabbling in technical work. Credits include Oliver, A Little Night Music, Anything Goes, Bye, Bye Birdie, The Sound of Music, and many more spanning from LA to Austin, TX to Little Rock, AR.
Neil Becker (Set Designer) graduated from Cornell University in 2005 with a double-major in Theater Arts and Philosophy. Recent designs include Puppetmaster of Lodz (Mirth A Theatre Company), The Wizard of Oz (Chatham High School), Jacques Brel… (Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts), Whole Day Down and What She Found There (Risley Theater) as well as No Exit, Far Away, and Adventures Underground (Schwartz Center Black Box). Neil currently resides in New York City where he works as a theatrical carpenter, and is an assistant for Drama Desk nominee Troy Hourie. Upcoming designs include Ravel’s L’enfant et les Sortilèges (NYU) and QED’s Mad Forest.
MELISSA DAGHINI (Costume Designer) holds a BFA from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts. Recent productions include Troilus and Cressida (Slightly Askew Prod.), Arcadia (QED Prod.), The Dybbuk (NYU Drama), Alice Squared (Theatre Ink), Vassa Zheleznova (Horizon Theatre Rep) and Dear Dad, Confessions of a GoGo Dancer (Six figures Theatre Company’s Artists of Tomorrow Festival). Ashley Herron (Stage Manager) Ashley Herron has been a jack of all trades in dance and theatre all over the country for over 20 years. Her credits include last year’s Arcadia, Annie, Anything Goes, Joseph…Dreamcoat, Once on This Island, Music Man, Jekyll and Hyde, and many more both on stage and behind the scenes.

Carolyn Louth (Graphic Designer) graduated from Louisiana State University with a BFA in Studio Art and Graphic Design. A passion for the arts and a career in design led her to New York City where she currently lives, works and plays ultimate frisbee.
Julia O’Brien (Associate Producer) Julia is an actor, director and teacher recently transplanted from Pittsburgh, PA where she was the Director of Education at Saltworks Theatre Company for 6 years. This summer, she appeared in the NYC Fringe Festival in The Great God Money, captivating one and all with the extraordinary pathos she brought to roles such as "Dragon," and "Computer." She will be directing QED’s next production, Mad Forest, by Caryl Churchill. BA in theater from Messiah College/Temple University.
Mike Romanowski (Technical Assistant) moved down to NYC upon graduating UMass (Amherst) this past May with a degree in Theatre. His main area of concern is lighting. His previous work in the field of lighting included shows like The Glass Menagerie,Turn of the Screw and children's shows like Wizard of Oz and Little Red Riding Hood. He hopes that moving down to NYC will open up new opportunities, new friends, and of course, a wild ride.
ZANDER TELLER (Translator, Director, Associate Producer) Zander is a founding member of QED and directed our inaugural production of Arcadia last fall. He has extensive experience and training as an actor and holds an M.F.A. in acting from the University of California, San Diego. He also holds a B.S. in physics from Stanford University. Over the years, Zander has worked as a lab technician, teacher, translator, web developer, and financial analyst.
